Pass Freshfield (Sella di Freshfield)

The approach to the pass is on the closed glacier Presanella. The angle of the western slope is about 30-40 degrees, sometimes there are more steep sections. Glacier pitted cracks, but in small amounts. Due to its location, the snow under your feet is tough till noon. The east part of the pass is steep (about 70-75 degrees) 25 meters rock wall overlooking neve basin of glacier Nardis. Rocky area is equipped by via-ferrata and is stepped.

With the passage of the pass must have the following equipment: trekking boots, rope, helmet, harness, twin tailed lanyard, two carbines, crampons, ice-axe.
